La MSP pr\u00e9sente en effet ses limites, dans un contexte industriel o\u00f9 les exigences de qualit\u00e9 et de productivit\u00e9 vont croissantes, o\u00f9 les proc\u00e9d\u00e9s industriels se complexifient, o\u00f9 le nombre de mesures \u00e0 traiter et surveiller est toujours plus important. La technologie GPC, \u201cGlobal Process Control\u201d, constitue un prolongement de la MSP.
